I’m a little terrified how Alex Jones and me look alike. Especially that anger level is similar, just about different things.
“It’s all a conspiracy of global cloud vendors. They poison the ecosystem with bloated SPA frameworks and JS slop to enrich themselves!!! They don’t want you to own and control your own server. They want you enslaved!”
Did it eventually reconcile?
The way messages are exchanged is not exactly real-time currently.
Also, when two devices are posting at the same time, both need to get messages from each other, and then one of them will “merge” them using an empty event (as everything is a DAG).
There’s a lot that could be improved there, but it’s an implementation detail, and shouldn’t matter for normal usage in an early project.
GM! The UI looks really nice now, if you ask me. At least in the light mode. I’m not exactly sure about the dark mode. BTW. Helping with improving style.css
is always welcome - I’m aesthetically-challanged.
BTW. “Network” currently does not do what the end goal is - in the future it will be showing both your Followees and their Followees, sort of like a “Global Feed”, except not exactly global.
Hello!
could you tag a version in your github repo ?
